EducationHUMANITAS has been created in 2003 with the aim of helping alleviate poverty by promoting children's education in the developing countries, with spesial focus in India. The mission is based on the understanding that education is the most poverful tool to alleviate poverty, as it is the only mean to improve people's life standard in a sustainable manner.

In a dominantly large part of the world, poverty is synonym of overpopulation and illiteracy. In India, for example, the population has increased by 80% in the last 30 years. Out of nearly one billion people, the 60% is illiterate and more than 30% is unemployed.

There are many organizations all around the world, devoted to supply aid to these populations.

Education HUMANITAS strongly believes that charity can not solve any problem in a sustainable manner. We believe that “importing foreign solution”, no matter what kind it is, will render populations even more dependent on external help, therefore will render them even poorer.

Education HUMANITAS approach consists of supplying basik education to children and to young adults in order to ebable them to improve theit own life standards in their own communities.
Through our actions we enable people to find their own way to get out of poverty in a sustainable and reproducible manner.
