EducationHUMANITAS Monsoon School Programs

EducationHUMANITAS organizes Monsoon School Programs for children and illiterate young adults who during regular school season did not attend formal education programs.
Currently two courses are taking place, one in Sinquerim the other in Panjim both in the slum areas of the village. In the program altogether 36 children and young adults (up to 30 years of age) participate. The courses commenced on 1st June will terminate on 31st August.
During the program pupils learn reading and writing, get basic knowledge of mathematics and receive elementary health care education.
This program makes a real difference in our pupils’ life because at the end of the course they will reach a sufficient level to be admitted in other regular educational institutions.
